Back At It

The kids are schooling again. Some are in school and some are homeschooling with Shelly. The transition from summer to school has been hard for Jessica and AJ. Jessica has senioritis so bad it's just crazy. Hope She starts paying attention to the right things soon. She has a job at Leatherby's and seems to be doing well at it. AJ is looking at his self controll issues and doing fairly well at this point. Please pray for my kids and for me.

Elyse opted for homeschooling this year as did Joseph. Elyse has been quite the socialite these past few months and will benefit from the grounded structure of schooling right now. I think that the one on one for Joseph will be good. I think Shelly will hold him accountable more than some of his teachers have in the last two years.

Claire and Mary Kate are back in Redding School of the Arts. What a great school it has been for our family. The level of education has proven to be some of the best in our region. I remember when the older kids were around the ages of these two. What fun times we had wrestling around------them pinning me to the floor just before I got up with them hanging on me--------laughing and laughing. Time goes on. The precious times turn to more difficult ones. The love grows while the understanding diminishes. (Both the understanding of the child and the understanding of the parent.)

Augustine is eleven months old now. WOW! He is learning sooooooo much every moment. What a character.

I love all of my kids!
